Stabilize Your Lower Body for Consistent Putting

Practice with an exercise band to help stabilize your lower body for a more consistent putting stroke.


  1. Place the band behind your lower back and then cross it in front.  
  2. Step one foot half-way through the band and place it under your foot. 
  3. Step with your other foot half-way through and place it under your foot.  NOTE: You will feel a slight tug from the ground up, hips and your lower back. 
  4. Next grip your putter and make a rocking motion with your shoulders as you keep your lower body stable.
