Resistance Band Exercises for a Stronger Backswing

The Benefit of the Exercises

Your backswing is key to a powerful downswing.  This band exercise will strengthen your lats and will support a good shoulder turn with your backswing.

How to Perform

When extending (extension) your arms out be sure you pinch your shoulder blades to get the best benefit of the exercise. When bringing your arms forward you will feel your pectoral (chest) muscles flexing.

For beginners to intermediate, I recommend doing 10-12 reps with each exercise, two-three sets each.  Flat looped bands work best for these exercises.

Where to Buy my Band?

I suggest buying a variety of bands 3-5 bands of different thickness and resistance.  For more information, visit  http://www.resistancebandtraining.com
