TPI Golf Assessment

TPI Golf Assessment for Improved Performance

What is the most important piece of equipment?

When I evaluate a golfer’s swing, I ask lots of questions: 1) What do they want to accomplish?  2) What have they been working on?  3) What swing thoughts do they have?  4) Most importantly, have they had any previous injuries or surgeries?  Your body is the most important piece of equipment. The answer to these questions is extremely important and directly relates to making the necessary swing adjustments.

Once I have diagnosed the golfer’s swing, the next question is, can they perform the movement prescribed?  I use the TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) assessment screening to determine if the golfer can perform the movement without swinging a golf club.
